How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery pack before inspecting the floor head.
Steps to address LED issues:
- 1. Check connections: Inspect the electrical contacts between the wand and floor head. Clean and reseat the head firmly.
- 2. Wiggle test: With the vacuum running (battery refitted), gently move the head and wand connection. If the LEDs flicker, the wiring harness or connector is loose or damaged.
- 3. Visual inspection: If the head can be opened, check the LED strip and wiring for visible damage or broken solder joints.
LED lighting faults do not usually affect cleaning performance. If lighting is important, replace the complete motorized floor nozzle or LED strip assembly as supplied by Hoover Candy.
