Steps to improve pickup:

• 1. Clean brushroll: Remove the brushroll and clear all hair and fibers. Ensure bristles are not matted down.
• 2. Inspect bristle wear: If bristles are worn short or uneven, replace the brushroll with a new Hoover Candy brush bar designed for your model.
• 3. Check nozzle channel: Look into the suction channel behind the brushroll for blockages and remove any debris.
• 4. Verify brush speed: With the battery refitted, run the vacuum and observe the brushroll. If it turns slowly or intermittently, the motorized head may be failing and should be replaced.
