Cordless vacuum makes loud rattling or knocking noise from floorhead when brush is running

Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the floorhead.

Steps:

• Inspect brush bar: Remove the bar and check for missing bristles, warping, or damage. Replace if bent or heavily worn.
• Remove debris: Look inside the floorhead for stones, screws, or other hard objects and remove them.
• Check bearings and end caps: Ensure end caps are tight and bearings allow smooth rotation without wobble.
• Tighten screws: Check all visible screws on the floorhead shell and tighten gently.

If noise persists with a new brush bar and clean head, the internal gear or motor may be damaged; replace the floorhead assembly.
