Possible Causes
Severely clogged cyclone shroud, Blocked wand or hose, Obstruction in floorhead neck, Overfilled dust bin
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and empty the dust bin before clearing blockages.
Steps:
- Empty and clean bin: Remove the dust container, empty it, and tap the cyclone shroud to remove fine dust. Use a soft brush to clean the mesh.
- Check wand and hose: Detach the wand and any hose. Look through them against the light. Use a broom handle or flexible rod to gently push out any clogs.
- Inspect floorhead: Remove the brush bar and check the neck and internal channels for blockages (e.g., tissue, pet hair clumps). Remove all debris.
- Clean filters: Clean pre-motor and post-motor filters as per the manual. Ensure they are completely dry before refitting.
After clearing: Reassemble and test. If F3 still appears with clear airflow, the pressure sensor or PCB may be faulty and require service.
