Possible Causes

Worn or broken trigger microswitch, Stuck trigger mechanism, Disconnected switch wiring, Faulty main PCB input circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting the handle or trigger.

Steps:

  • Check trigger movement: Squeeze and release the trigger several times. It should move freely and spring back. If it feels loose or jammed, debris may be lodged around it.
  • Clean around trigger: Use a dry brush or compressed air to remove dust from the trigger area.
  • Listen for click: When pressing the trigger, listen for a distinct click from the internal microswitch. No click suggests a failed switch.

Advanced: Replacing the trigger switch usually requires opening the handle and desoldering/resoldering the microswitch, which should be done by a qualified technician. If F6 remains, the main PCB may also be involved.
