Possible Causes
Blocked pressure sensor port, Dust contamination on airflow sensor, Damaged sensor tubing, Failed pressure sensor on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before cleaning internal areas.
- Clean dust bin and cyclone: Empty the bin and thoroughly clean the cyclone assembly. Packed dust can affect airflow readings.
- Inspect sensor ports: Look for small holes or channels near the bin outlet or motor housing that may be the pressure sensor port. Gently brush away dust with a soft, dry brush.
- Check filters: Ensure pre‑motor and HEPA filters are clean and properly seated. Misaligned filters can alter airflow and confuse the sensor.
- Reset and test: Reassemble, then perform a reset (hold Power/Clean 10–20 seconds). Run the vacuum on low power and see if Err 12 returns.
- Service sensor/board: If the error persists with clean airflow paths, the pressure sensor or its circuit on the main PCB may be defective and require board replacement.
