Possible Causes
Clogged main air path, Blocked cyclone assembly, Seized main suction motor, Faulty motor driver circuit on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the vacuum OFF and remove it from the charger. Do not run the unit with covers removed.
- Check for clogs: Remove the dust bin and cyclone assembly. Look through the main air path from the nozzle to the bin inlet and from the bin outlet to the exhaust. Clear any debris, hair, or compacted dust using a non‑metal tool.
- Inspect filters: Remove the pre‑motor and exhaust (HEPA) filters. If heavily clogged, tap them gently over a trash can. Wash only if the label says they are washable; let them dry completely (at least 24 hours) before reinstalling.
- Test motor sound: With the bin removed (if allowed by design), briefly power on the vacuum. If the motor does not spin or makes a burning smell, turn it off immediately.
- Reset and retest: Reassemble the bin and filters, then perform a reset (hold Power/Clean for 10–20 seconds). Try running on low power first to see if Err 2 clears.
- Replace motor assembly: If the error persists and the motor is noisy, hot, or not spinning, the main suction motor assembly likely needs replacement. This requires opening the main body and transferring seals and wiring harnesses.
If you smell burning or see smoke, stop using the vacuum immediately and disconnect from power.
