Possible Causes
Stuck power or mode button, Liquid ingress into control panel, Damaged button flex cable, Failed keypad PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before cleaning around buttons.
- Check for stuck buttons: Press each button (Power, Mode, Boost, etc.) several times. If any feel stuck or do not click, gently work them free.
- Clean around buttons: Use a slightly damp cloth (water only) to wipe around the button area. Do not allow liquid to enter the seams. Dry thoroughly.
- Dry out moisture: If the vacuum was exposed to spills, remove the battery and let the unit air‑dry in a warm, dry room for 24–48 hours. Do not use heat guns or hair dryers.
- Reset the unit: Reinstall the battery and perform a reset (hold Power/Clean for 10–20 seconds). Check if the error clears.
- Replace UI board: If buttons remain unresponsive or Err 7 persists, the user interface PCB or button flex cable may need replacement, which involves opening the handle housing.
