Possible Causes
Dirty or damp filters, Debris left in bin for long periods, Moisture exposure inside bin, Pet hair accumulation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before cleaning. Avoid inhaling dust directly.
- Empty and wash bin: Remove the dust bin and wash it with mild soap and warm water if the manual allows. Dry completely before reinstalling.
- Clean or replace filters: Wash washable filters thoroughly and let them dry for at least 24 hours. Replace non‑washable HEPA filters if they smell or appear stained.
- Wipe nozzle and wand: Use a slightly damp cloth with mild detergent to wipe the inside of the nozzle and wand. Do not soak electrical components.
- Prevent recurrence: Empty the bin after each use, especially when vacuuming pet hair or damp debris.
