Dust leaks from around the dust cup or joints during use

Safety first: Remove the battery and empty the dust cup before inspection.

• Step 1 – Empty and clean: Empty the dust cup and wipe the sealing surfaces with a dry cloth.
• Step 2 – Inspect seals: Check the rubber gasket around the dust cup rim and cyclone base. Replace if torn, flattened, or missing.
• Step 3 – Check for cracks: Look for hairline cracks in the dust cup body. Replace the dust cup if any are found.
• Step 4 – Proper assembly: Ensure the cyclone is seated correctly and the dust cup is fully locked into place.
• Step 5 – Replace assembly: If leaks persist, replace the dust cup and cyclone assembly.
