Possible Causes
Faulty turbo mode MOSFET on PCB, Weak battery unable to supply high current, Damaged wiring between battery and PCB, Internal short in motor winding
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before opening the unit. Do not continue to run the vacuum if it smells burnt.
- Step 1 – Check battery health: Fully charge the Jimmy battery until the charger indicates full. If runtime is very short or the vacuum cannot enter turbo mode even when fully charged, suspect a weak battery.
- Step 2 – Test with another battery: If available, try a known-good Jimmy battery pack. If turbo mode works, replace the original battery.
- Step 3 – Inspect wiring: Open the handheld body and inspect the high-current wires from the battery terminals to the PCB and motor. Look for burnt insulation or loose connectors.
- Step 4 – PCB and motor diagnosis: If wiring is intact and a good battery still gives F1, the main control PCB or motor assembly is likely faulty. These components should be tested and replaced by a qualified technician.
