Possible Causes
Full dust cup, Clogged pre-motor sponge filter, Blocked cyclone mesh, Partially blocked extension tube or floorhead
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before cleaning.
- Step 1 – Empty dust cup: Remove and empty the Jimmy dust container. Tap gently to remove compacted dust.
- Step 2 – Clean filters: Remove the pre-motor sponge and HEPA filters. Tap off dust. If washable, rinse with cold water and allow to dry completely for 24 hours before reinstalling.
- Step 3 – Clear cyclone: Brush dust from the cyclone cones and mesh. Ensure all holes are open.
- Step 4 – Check tube and floorhead: Detach the extension tube and floorhead. Look through the tube and clear any obstructions. Inspect the floorhead suction channel and remove debris.
- Step 5 – Reassemble and test: Refit all parts securely. If suction is still weak, inspect seals and gaskets around the dust cup and cyclone for air leaks and replace if damaged.
