Possible Causes
Worn brushroll bristles, Incorrect floorhead height for carpet, Blocked front intake on floorhead, Air leak at floorhead neck
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF and remove the battery before inspecting the floorhead.
- Step 1 – Inspect brushroll: Check bristle length and stiffness. If bristles are worn down or matted, replace the brushroll.
- Step 2 – Clear front intake: Remove any fibers or debris from the front edge of the floorhead and side channels.
- Step 3 – Check floorhead seal: Inspect the rubber squeegee or seal at the rear of the floorhead. Replace if torn or missing.
- Step 4 – Use correct mode: Ensure the Jimmy vacuum is in carpet mode or higher power when cleaning carpets.
- Step 5 – Replace floorhead: If performance remains poor, replace the Jimmy motorized floorhead assembly.
