Possible Causes
Broken drive belt or gear in nozzle, Failed brush motor, Disconnected wiring to nozzle, Worn brush motor carbon brushes (if applicable)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and disconnect the nozzle.
- Check for jams: Remove the brush roller and clear all debris. Try spinning the roller by hand; it should move freely.
- Inspect drive components: If accessible, open the nozzle base to inspect the belt or gear drive. Replace any broken or stretched belts with Kärcher parts.
- Test motor: Reassemble without the roller and briefly power the vacuum. If the motor shaft does not turn, the brush motor or wiring is faulty.
- Replace nozzle: If the motor has failed or wiring is damaged inside the sealed nozzle, replace the entire powered floor nozzle.
