Possible Causes
Clogged HEPA or fine dust filter, Blocked cyclone separator in dust container, Obstructed air path in main body, Faulty airflow sensor on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before cleaning filters or opening the dust container.
- Empty dust container: Remove and empty the container. Tap gently to dislodge compacted dust from the cyclone section.
- Clean filters thoroughly: Remove the pre‑filter and main HEPA/cartridge filter. Tap off loose dust outdoors. If Kärcher specifies they are washable, rinse under lukewarm water without detergents. Allow to dry for at least 24 hours.
- Check internal air path: Look into the air inlet and outlet of the main body for blockages. Use a flashlight to inspect and remove any obstructions.
- Reset error: After cleaning and reassembly, reinstall the battery and hold the power or mode button (if specified in the manual) to clear the filter warning.
- Persistent E11 with clean filters: The airflow sensor or pressure switch on the main PCB may be faulty. Professional service is required to replace the sensor or PCB.
