Dust escapes from around the dust cup area during use

Safety first: Remove the battery before inspection.

• Check latch: Ensure the dust cup is fully latched and does not move when pulled gently.
• Inspect gasket: Look for a rubber gasket around the dust cup rim. Replace the dust cup or gasket if it is torn, flattened, or missing.
• Check for cracks: Replace the dust cup if you see any cracks or warping.
• Clean sealing surfaces: Wipe dust from the mating surfaces between the dust cup and main body to improve sealing.
