Airflow Restriction Detected
Vacuum beeps and shows F1; suction is weak and fluctuating
Advertisements
Possible Causes
Dust cup overfilled, Cyclone assembly clogged with fine dust, Pre‑motor filter completely blocked, Obstruction in wand or floor head inlet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before clearing blockages.
- Empty dust cup: Remove and empty the dust cup, tapping gently to dislodge compacted debris.
- Clean cyclone: Remove the cyclone assembly from the dust cup. Use a soft brush to clean the cyclone cone and mesh. Ensure all small holes are clear.
- Service filters: Take out the pre‑motor filter and HEPA/post‑motor filter. Tap off loose dust. Wash washable filters with cold water only, then air‑dry completely for at least 24 hours.
- Check for clogs: Look through the wand and floor head. Use a flexible, non‑sharp tool to push out any lodged debris.
- Reassemble and test: Once everything is dry and reinstalled, test the vacuum. If F1 still appears with clean filters and no clogs, the airflow sensor may be faulty and require professional service.
