Vacuum shows F6 and runs for only a few seconds before shutting off

Safety first: If the battery feels hot to the touch, do not attempt to charge or use it until it cools.

• Allow cooling time: Remove the battery and let it sit at room temperature for at least 30–60 minutes.
• Check vents: Inspect the battery compartment and surrounding vents for dust buildup. Clean with a soft brush or compressed air (short bursts).
• Avoid immediate charging after heavy use: Let the battery cool before placing it on the charger.
• Test again: After cooling, reinstall the battery and test. If F6 appears immediately even when the battery is cool, the temperature sensor inside the pack may be faulty.
• Replace battery: Use a genuine Levoit replacement battery pack if the error persists.
