Possible Causes
Warped or bent brushroll, Large debris stuck in brush housing, Missing brush bristles causing imbalance, Damaged brush bearings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the vacuum, remove the battery, and detach the floor nozzle.
- 1. Remove brushroll: Unlock and remove the brushroll from the nozzle.
- 2. Inspect for damage: Roll the brush on a flat surface. If it wobbles or appears bent, it must be replaced. Check for missing or heavily worn bristles.
- 3. Clear debris: Remove any large objects, stones, or hard items from the nozzle housing that could strike the brush as it spins.
- 4. Check bearings: Spin the brush end caps by hand. If they feel rough or seized, replace the brushroll.
- 5. Reassemble and test: If vibration persists with a new brushroll, the nozzle motor shaft or internal housing may be damaged and the entire nozzle should be replaced.
