Possible Causes
Aged lithium-ion cells with reduced capacity, Repeated deep discharges, Storage at high temperature, Internal cell damage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before inspection. Do not puncture or open the battery pack.
- 1. Fully charge battery: Place the battery on the LG charger until the indicator shows full. This may take several hours.
- 2. Test runtime: Use the vacuum on Normal mode and time how long it runs from full to shutdown. Compare to the expected runtime in the user manual.
- 3. Try a second battery: If available, test with another LG battery. If runtime is normal with the second battery, the original battery is worn out.
- 4. Replace the battery pack: Purchase a genuine LG replacement battery compatible with your model. Install according to the manual.
- 5. To extend new battery life: Avoid storing the vacuum in very hot areas and do not leave the battery fully discharged for long periods.
