Display shows 'br' and the brushroll does not spin, though suction may be present.

Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the motorized floor head.

• Remove debris: Open the brushroll cover and carefully cut away hair and threads. Remove any foreign objects lodged in the brush chamber.
• Check bearings: Remove the brushroll and inspect the end caps. Clean out hair and dust from the bearing area. If bearings are rough or seized, replace the brushroll.
• Allow cooling: If the brush motor overheated, let the floor head cool for 30 minutes before testing again.
• Test operation: Reassemble and test. If 'br' returns immediately and the brush does not move, the brush motor or floor head PCB may be faulty and the floor head assembly should be replaced.
