Possible Causes

Depleted lithium‑ion battery pack, Battery pack internal cell failure, Faulty battery management PCB in pack, Dirty or oxidized battery contacts in handle

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn the vacuum OFF, remove the battery pack from the handle or base, and unplug any charger before inspecting. Do not open the battery pack casing.

  • Check charge level: Place the battery on the original Logik charger. Confirm the charger LED comes on and allow at least 3–4 hours of charging. If E1 reappears immediately after a full charge, the pack may be failing.
  • Clean contacts: Use a dry cloth or cotton swab with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol to clean the metal contacts on both the battery pack and the vacuum handle/battery bay. Let them dry fully, then reinstall the battery firmly until it clicks.
  • Test with/without accessories: Remove all attachments and try powering on. A shorted motorized floor head can sometimes trigger undervoltage under load.
  • Try another outlet/charger: If available, test with a known‑good Logik charger. A weak charger can leave the pack undercharged and cause E1.
  • Replace battery pack: If the vacuum only runs for a few seconds or not at all before E1 returns, the internal cells or BMS are likely faulty. Replace the complete Logik lithium‑ion battery pack; do not attempt to repair or open the pack.
