Possible Causes

Worn trigger microswitch, Broken trigger lever, Loose wiring harness between trigger and control PCB, Faulty main control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery pack. Do not work on the unit while powered.

  • Check trigger movement: Squeeze the trigger or press the power button and feel for a distinct click. A soft or stuck feel suggests a broken lever or switch.
  • Inspect for debris: Look around the trigger area for dust or debris preventing full movement. Clean with a soft brush and compressed air if available.
  • Check for visible damage: If the housing is cracked near the trigger (from a drop), the internal switch may be misaligned.
  • Disassemble handle (if comfortable): Remove screws from the handle shell to access the trigger microswitch and wiring. Check that the switch connector is firmly seated on the main control PCB.
  • Replace trigger switch: If the switch does not actuate electrically (no continuity when pressed, tested with a multimeter), replace the trigger microswitch or the entire handle/control assembly depending on Logik parts availability.
