Possible Causes
Faulty Logik charging dock or wall charger, Damaged charging jack on vacuum, Broken wiring between charge port and battery, Internal charge circuit failure on control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charger from the mains before inspecting. Do not use damaged power cords.
- Check mains outlet: Test the wall socket with another device to confirm it supplies power.
- Inspect charger and dock: Look for frayed cables, bent pins, or burn marks on the Logik charger or wall dock. Replace the charger if any damage is visible.
- Clean charge contacts: If your model uses contact pads on a wall dock, clean both the dock contacts and the vacuum contacts with a dry cloth or isopropyl alcohol.
- Test direct charging: If the vacuum can be charged directly via a jack, bypass the dock and plug the charger directly into the vacuum. If it charges this way, the dock is faulty.
- Try another compatible charger: Use a known‑good original Logik charger of the same rating. If E8 persists, the internal charging circuit or charge port may be faulty and the main PCB or charge jack assembly will need replacement.
