• Clean connectors: Wipe dust and debris from the locking buttons and mating surfaces on the pipe and nozzle.
• Inspect locking tabs: Check for worn, cracked, or missing plastic tabs. If damaged, replace the extension pipe or accessory.
• Ensure full engagement: Push accessories firmly until you hear or feel a click. Gently pull to confirm they are locked.
• Use genuine accessories: Non-Makita parts may not lock correctly and can fall off.
