Possible Causes
Broken brush drive belt (if belt-driven), Seized brush bearings, Failed brush motor, Loose brush motor connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the floor nozzle.
- Check for jams: Remove the brush roll and clear hair and debris from the bristles and end caps.
- Inspect bearings: Spin the brush by hand. If it is stiff or locked, replace the brush roll.
- Check belt (if present): On belt-driven Medion heads, inspect the belt for breakage or stretching and replace if damaged.
- Test motor: With the nozzle open, carefully reconnect the battery and briefly power on while holding the motor housing (keep fingers away from moving parts). If the motor does not turn, replace the brush motor or entire nozzle.
