How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before opening the handle or display housing.
- Check basic operation: Confirm that the vacuum still runs and suctions normally. If only the LEDs are affected, the fault is likely limited to the indicator system.
- Inspect connections: Open the handle and locate the LED ring or display module. Ensure the ribbon cable or connector is fully seated and not damaged.
- Look for corrosion: If the vacuum has been stored in a damp area, inspect the LED board for corrosion. Light corrosion can sometimes be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush (battery removed).
- Module replacement: If the LEDs remain dead or flicker randomly, replace the LED ring/display module or the main PCB, depending on which contains the driver circuitry in your Medion model.
