Possible Causes
Clogged HEPA filter, Incorrect or non-original filter installed, Faulty pressure sensor monitoring filter, Filter not seated correctly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before handling filters.
- Check filter type: Ensure you are using the correct Medion filter set for your model. Non-original filters may not fit or allow proper airflow.
- Clean or replace filters: Tap the HEPA filter gently to remove dust. If washable, rinse according to the manual and dry completely. Severely clogged filters should be replaced.
- Seat filters correctly: Reinstall the filters, making sure they are fully inserted and the filter cover is latched.
- Test without HEPA (briefly): For diagnosis only, run the vacuum for a few seconds without the HEPA filter. If E13 disappears, the filter or filter sensor is the cause. Do not use the vacuum long-term without the filter.
- Sensor replacement: If E13 persists with clean, correct filters, the pressure or airflow sensor may be faulty and require replacement.
