E7
Medion
Battery Overtemperature / Overload Protection
Cordless vacuum shows E7 and runs only at low power or not at all when set to turbo mode

Possible Causes
Battery pack overheating, Blocked cooling vents around motor, Prolonged use on turbo mode, Failing battery cells causing excessive heat
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: If the battery feels hot to the touch, remove it from the vacuum and place it on a non-flammable surface away from direct sunlight.
- Allow cooling: Let the battery and vacuum cool for at least 30–60 minutes. Do not place in a fridge or freezer.
- Check vents: Inspect the motor housing and side vents for dust buildup. Use a soft brush or compressed air (short bursts) to clear vents without forcing dust inside.
- Reduce load: Ensure filters and air paths are clean so the motor does not have to work excessively hard. Avoid using turbo mode continuously on thick carpets.
- Monitor temperature: After cooling and cleaning, run the vacuum on normal mode. If E7 reappears quickly and the battery becomes hot, the battery pack may be failing and should be replaced.
- Do not open battery: If the battery swells, leaks, or smells unusual, stop using it immediately and dispose of it according to local e-waste regulations.
