Possible Causes
Worn motor bearings, Debris in motor fan, Damaged brush roll bearings, Loose screws in nozzle or housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before disassembling any part of the vacuum.
- Isolate source: Run the vacuum briefly with and without the floor nozzle (battery installed, but keep hands clear). If noise disappears without the nozzle, the problem is in the nozzle.
- Inspect brush roll: Remove the brush and check for flat spots, cracks, or worn bearings. Replace if necessary.
- Check for loose parts: Tighten any loose screws on the nozzle and main body.
- Motor noise: If the noise clearly comes from the motor area and persists, the motor bearings or fan are likely damaged. Replace the motor assembly.
