Possible Causes
Shorted power button contacts, Stuck trigger mechanism, Faulty main control PCB, Liquid ingress around control area
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery immediately if the vacuum powers on unexpectedly.
- Dry out (if wet): If liquid may have entered the control area, allow the vacuum to dry in a warm, ventilated place for at least 24–48 hours (battery removed).
- Inspect power button: Open the handle and check for debris or corrosion around the power switch. Clean with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush.
- Check switch operation: Test the microswitch with a multimeter (if available). Replace if it is shorted closed.
- PCB replacement: If the switch is good but the vacuum still auto-starts, replace the main control PCB.
