Possible Causes
Completely discharged battery, Faulty battery pack, Defective power button, Failed main control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the charger and outlets are in good condition and dry.
- 1. Charge the battery fully: Place the battery on the charger or in the charging cradle until the indicator shows full charge. This may take several hours if deeply discharged.
- 2. Test the charger: Confirm the charger LED behaves normally. If there is no LED or it flashes abnormally, try another outlet or a known-good Miele charger.
- 3. Try a different battery (if available): If the vacuum powers on with another compatible battery, replace the original battery pack.
- 4. Check the power button: Press firmly and hold for a few seconds. If the button feels loose, stuck, or does not click, the switch may be faulty.
- 5. If still no response: The main control PCB or internal wiring is likely defective. Do not attempt to open the motor unit; contact Miele service for diagnosis and repair.
