General Air Leak / Loss of Sealing
Cordless vacuum has very weak suction but motor sounds normal, no error code

Possible Causes
Damaged bin-to-body rubber seal, Cracked dust bin, Wand not fully inserted into handheld, Torn gasket around cyclone assembly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting seals and joints.
- Check all connections: Ensure the wand, tools, and floorhead are fully pushed in until they click. Loose joints allow air leaks.
- Inspect bin and seals: Remove the dust bin and inspect for cracks. Check the rubber seals around the bin and cyclone for tears, flattening, or missing sections.
- Listen for hissing: With the vacuum running (battery refitted), move your ear carefully around joints and seals to locate any hissing air leaks. Do not let hair or clothing get near moving parts.
- Replace damaged seals or bin: If seals are worn or the bin is cracked, replace the dust bin assembly or seal kit with genuine Morphy Richards parts.
