Battery Gauge / Hall Sensor Calibration Error
Cordless vacuum displays E13 and the LED battery gauge behaves erratically (jumping from full to empty)

Possible Causes
Faulty battery fuel gauge IC on BMS, Loose connection between battery and handle contacts, Corroded battery terminals, Firmware miscalibration of state-of-charge
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before cleaning contacts.
- Clean contacts: Wipe the battery and handle contacts with a dry, lint-free cloth. Ensure there is no corrosion or debris.
- Full discharge and recharge: Use the vacuum until it stops on its own, then fully recharge it without interruption. This can sometimes recalibrate the fuel gauge.
- Avoid partial top-ups: For a few cycles, try to run the battery down to around 20–30% before recharging to help the gauge learn the capacity.
- Persistent erratic readings: If the gauge remains inaccurate or E13 persists, the battery pack's gauge circuit is likely faulty. Replace the battery pack.
