Vacuum shuts off randomly during use without overheating or low-battery warning

Safety: Disconnect from charger and ensure the unit is off before opening the housing.

• Step 1 – Check for pattern: Note if shutdowns occur when moving the handle, tilting the vacuum, or bumping it. This often indicates a loose connection.
• Step 2 – Inspect battery seating: Remove the battery cover and verify the pack is fully seated and cannot move. Gently wiggle the pack while the vacuum is on a low setting; if it cuts out, the connector is loose or worn.
• Step 3 – Open housing: Remove screws and separate the body shell to access internal wiring. Look for loose connectors between the battery, switch, and main PCB.
• Step 4 – Check power switch: Test the power button or trigger switch with a multimeter for consistent continuity when pressed. Replace the switch module if readings are intermittent.
• Step 5 – Inspect solder joints: Examine the PCB around the battery connector and power input for dull, cracked, or ringed solder joints. Reflow with a soldering iron if you are experienced, or replace the PCB if damage is extensive.
