Vacuum will not stand upright in storage position (if applicable) or hinge feels loose

Safety: Power off and disconnect from charger.

• Step 1 – Inspect hinge: Examine the joint between the main body and wand/handle. Look for missing screws or visible cracks.
• Step 2 – Tighten hardware: Tighten any loose hinge screws. If threads are stripped, use slightly larger screws or thread repair inserts if possible.
• Step 3 – Replace hinge components: If the plastic hinge housing is cracked or the pin is worn, replace the wand or main body shell, depending on which part contains the hinge.
• Step 4 – Avoid forcing: Do not force the vacuum into upright position if resistance is felt; this can worsen damage.
