Possible Causes
Worn brushroll end bearings, Stretched or slipping drive belt (if fitted), Weak or failing nozzle motor, Debris in brushroll housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery and detach the nozzle.
- Clean brushroll: Remove the brushroll and clear all hair and fibers from bristles and end caps.
- Check bearings: Spin the brushroll by hand. If it feels rough or stiff, replace the brushroll assembly.
- Inspect belt (if applicable): On belt-driven models, check for glazing, stretching, or cracks. Replace if worn.
- Test nozzle motor: With the brushroll removed, briefly run the nozzle (if safe to do so) to see if the motor shaft spins strongly. Weak or non-spinning indicates motor failure.
