Possible Causes
Brushroll jammed with hair or debris, Worn or seized brushroll end bearings, Faulty nozzle motor, Damaged wiring in nozzle neck or swivel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery pack and detach the floor nozzle before working on the brushroll.
- Remove brushroll: Open the brushroll cover (release latches or screws). Lift out the brushroll.
- Clear debris: Cut away hair, threads, and fibers from the brushroll and end caps. Ensure both ends rotate freely by hand.
- Inspect bearings: If the end caps feel rough or seized, the brushroll assembly should be replaced.
- Check for obstructions: Inspect the nozzle air path and motor area for foreign objects.
- Test nozzle motor: Reinstall the brushroll and reconnect the nozzle. With the vacuum assembled and battery installed, run the unit and toggle the brushroll on/off (if applicable). If the brush still does not spin but suction is present, the nozzle motor or internal wiring harness is likely faulty and the complete motorized nozzle assembly may need replacement.
