• Compare to specification: Check the user manual for expected runtime. If actual runtime is less than 50% of spec, the battery is likely worn.
• Try another battery: If a second Nilfisk battery provides normal runtime, replace the original pack.
• Storage habits: Avoid storing the battery fully discharged or in hot environments to prevent further degradation.
• Replace when needed: Once capacity is significantly reduced, the only reliable fix is to replace the battery pack.
