Possible Causes
Loose battery connection, Broken wire in handle harness, Faulty tilt/orientation sensor on PCB, Cracked solder joints on power terminals
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before inspection.
- Check battery fit: Ensure the battery locks firmly into place. If it feels loose, inspect the latch and housing for wear.
- Wiggle test: With the battery installed and the unit running, gently move the handle and body. If power cuts out with movement, an internal connection is likely loose.
- Inspect external joints: Check the wand and nozzle electrical joints for play or visible damage.
- Do not open the PCB housing yourself: Intermittent faults often require re-soldering or harness replacement. Contact a Nilfisk service center for internal inspection.
