Safety: Remove the battery before maintenance.

Clean filters and air path: Reduce load by ensuring all filters and passages are clear.
Compare runtimes: Time the vacuum on low and MAX modes. Some reduction is normal, but extremely short MAX runtime indicates battery or motor issues.
Test with another battery: If available, compare performance. If a new battery improves MAX runtime, replace the old pack.
If issue persists with new battery: The motor may be inefficient or partially failing and should be inspected by a technician.
