Possible Causes

Battery self-discharge below BMS cutoff, Stored fully discharged, Charger unable to wake battery, Internal cell damage

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Inspect the battery for swelling or damage before charging.

  • Attempt normal charge: Place the battery on the OEM charger for several hours, even if LEDs do not light immediately.
  • Check charger LED: If the charger shows an error or no indication, test with another battery if possible.
  • If battery will not wake: The BMS may have permanently disabled the pack due to deep discharge. Replacement is required.
  • Storage tip: Store future batteries at 40–60% charge in a cool, dry place and recharge every few months.
