Vacuum will not start and shows a lock or key icon on the display

Safety first: Remove the battery if you need to clean around buttons.

• Disable child lock: Refer to the user manual for the specific button combination (often holding the power and mode buttons together for several seconds). Perform this with the battery installed.
• Check buttons for sticking: Press each button several times. If a button feels stuck, clean around it with a dry cloth. Avoid liquids near the control panel.
• Power reset: Remove the battery for 1–2 minutes, then refit and try again. This can clear minor firmware glitches.

If the lock icon will not clear, the control PCB or keypad may be faulty and require replacement.
