Possible Causes
Partially blocked filters or cyclone, Worn motor drawing excessive current at high speed, Faulty power mode switch, Weak battery unable to supply high current
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before cleaning or disassembly.
- Deep clean filters and cyclone: Empty the dust container. Remove and clean the cyclone assembly and filters according to the Numatic manual. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembly.
- Inspect brush head: A heavy load from the brush bar can cause overload in high mode. Remove the brush bar, clear hair and debris, and ensure it spins freely by hand.
- Test without floor head: Refit the battery and run the vacuum body only. Switch to high power. If it now runs without error, the issue is likely in the floor head or brush bar.
- Try a different battery (if available): A weak battery may sag in voltage under high load. If another battery works fine, replace the original.
If the vacuum still shuts down in high mode with clean filters and a good battery, the motor or control PCB may be failing and should be inspected by a technician.
