Possible Causes

Shorted brush head motor, Jammed brush bar, Damaged brush head PCB, Broken cable in wand or head connector

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery and disconnect the floor head from the wand and vacuum body.

  • Check for jams: Remove the brush bar from the head (tool-free latch or screws depending on model). Clear all hair, string, and debris from the bar and end caps. Ensure the bar spins freely by hand.
  • Inspect the brush head connector: Look at the electrical contacts on the head and wand. Clean gently with a dry cloth. Do not bend the pins.
  • Test without power to head: If your model allows, run the vacuum with the head attached but brush motor switched off (suction only). If the error only appears when the brush motor is enabled, the brush motor or PCB is likely faulty.

If the error persists with a free-spinning brush bar and clean contacts, the brush head assembly or its internal PCB usually needs replacement.
