Possible Causes
Faulty Numatic charger, Dirty or damaged charger contacts, Overheated battery pack, Internal battery BMS fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charger from the mains before cleaning or inspecting.
- Check mains outlet: Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm it is working correctly.
- Inspect charger contacts: Look for dust, debris, or corrosion on the charger and battery contacts. Clean gently with a dry cloth or cotton swab with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol. Allow to dry fully.
- Cool-down period: If the battery is warm from recent use, let it cool for 30 minutes before placing it on the charger. Some chargers will show an error if the pack is too hot.
- Try another battery or charger (if available): Swap components to isolate whether the fault follows the battery or the charger.
If the error persists with a known-good charger and outlet, the battery pack is likely faulty and should be replaced. Do not attempt to open or repair the battery yourself.
