Dust cup door will not latch closed or pops open during use

Safety first: Remove the battery before working on the dust cup.

• 1. Empty and clean dust cup: Remove all debris and wipe the latch area with a dry cloth.
• 2. Inspect latch components: Check the plastic hook and catch for cracks or wear. Ensure the spring (if visible) is present and functional.
• 3. Test closure: Close the door firmly until you hear a click. Gently tug to confirm it is secure.
• 4. Replace dust cup assembly: If the latch hook is broken or the door is warped, replace the entire dust cup assembly with a genuine Panasonic part.
