Charging Fault / Charger-Battery Mismatch
Vacuum will not charge; charger LED blinks and E07 appears on the vacuum display

Possible Causes
Faulty Panasonic AC charger, Overheated battery pack, Battery pack voltage out of range, Damaged charging jack or dock contacts
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charger from the wall before inspecting cables or connectors.
- 1. Check outlet and charger: Test the wall outlet with another device. Inspect the charger for frayed cables, cracks, or burn marks. If damaged, discontinue use immediately.
- 2. Allow battery to cool: If the vacuum or battery feels warm, let it cool for 30–60 minutes before attempting to charge again. Many Panasonic chargers will blink if the pack is too hot or too cold.
- 3. Clean charging contacts: On dock‑style chargers, wipe the metal contacts on both the dock and battery with a dry cloth. Ensure the vacuum is seated correctly on the dock.
- 4. Try a different outlet: Plug the charger directly into a wall outlet (avoid power strips or extension cords) and observe the charger LED behavior.
- 5. Test with another charger (if available): Use a known‑good, compatible Panasonic charger. If charging works, replace the original charger.
- 6. Persistent E07: If multiple chargers fail and the battery never charges, the battery pack or internal charging circuit in the vacuum is likely defective. Replacement of the battery pack is the first step; if that fails, the main PCB or charging jack must be serviced by a technician.
