Vacuum leaves debris on carpet; brush spins but pickup is poor

Safety first: Remove the battery before working on the nozzle.

• 1. Inspect brush bristles: Remove the brush roll and check if the bristles are worn down, uneven, or heavily matted with hair.
• 2. Clean the brush roll: Remove all hair and fibers. Comb the bristles with a stiff brush to restore their shape if possible.
• 3. Check nozzle air path: Look inside the nozzle throat for compacted dust or objects restricting airflow. Clear any obstructions.
• 4. Verify suction at nozzle: With the nozzle removed, feel the suction at the end of the wand. If strong there but weak at the nozzle, the nozzle is the issue.
• 5. Replace brush roll if worn: Order a genuine Panasonic brush roll designed for your model and install it according to the manual.
