Possible Causes
Completely discharged or failed battery pack, Faulty power button or trigger switch, Open circuit in internal wiring harness, Blown fuse or failed control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the charger is unplugged before handling the battery. Do not short battery terminals.
- Step 1 – Verify charger and outlet: Confirm the wall outlet works and the Princess charger LED behaves as described in the manual. If the charger LED never lights, replace the charger.
- Step 2 – Check battery charge status: Place the vacuum on charge for at least 3–4 hours. Observe any battery LEDs. If there is no indication at all, suspect the battery or charger.
- Step 3 – Inspect battery fit: Remove and reinsert the battery, ensuring it clicks firmly into place. Check contacts for dirt or damage.
- Step 4 – Test power button/trigger: Press and hold the power button for 3–5 seconds. If there is still no response, the trigger switch or control PCB may be faulty.
- Step 5 – Swap components (if possible): If you have access to another compatible Princess battery, test with it. If the vacuum powers on, replace the original battery. If it remains dead, the internal electronics require service.
- Step 6 – Professional diagnosis: Internal fuses and PCB components are not user‑serviceable. Contact a Princess service center for control PCB or wiring harness replacement.
